Mark D. McConahay, Vice President, joined Block & Company in 1991. With a career that has spanned over three decades, Mark has been involved in all facets of the commercial real estate business.

While at Block & Company, Mark has primarily focused on retail, restaurant, and hotel properties, as well as tenant representation. He has represented national, regional and local retailers with site selection. Other responsibilities have included representing commercial real estate owners develop, sell and/or lease space and identify and analyze income producing property for purchase.

Mark's clients include Arby's, Caribou Coffee, Holiday Inn, Home Depot, NPC, Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, MOD Pizza, Five Guys Burgers & Fries, Captain D's, Jiffy Lube, KC Hopps (Blue Moose, Barley's Brewhaus, and Stroud's Chicken) Marriott, Sherwin Williams, Tharaldson Hotel Company, and many others.

Mark is licensed in both Kansas and Missouri. He is a member of the Kansas City Regional Association of Realtors, International Council of Shopping Center, National Association of Realtors and various Chambers of Commerce. He is also active as a volunteer for Meals on Wheels. Mark was presented with the CoStar Power Broker Award for Top Retail Leasing Volumes in Kansas City in 2016.
